August Sales Statistics

Residential sales increased this August by 32%.  Sales volume figures also increased by 63%.  The median price for a single family residential home on Kauai this August is currently $521,500.  The residential median price home price has been hovering around $525,000 for some time now.

Condo sales have gotten off to a slow start this summer.  This August condo sales slid by 26% less sales than the previous year.  Total condo sales volume is down on Kauai by 37% this August.  The only statistic that has moved up for condos is the median price.  The current median for a condominium this August is $300,000 a 9% increase over the previous year.

Vacant land sales also fell this August by 14%.  The total sales volume this August year to date is $7,015,500, a decrease of 39% from the previous years sales volume total of $11,496,998.  The median price for a vacant land parcel on Kauai this August was $295,000 a 5% decrease from last years median of $309,000.  Please see below for other graphs and info such as the current absorption rate of listings on Kauai.
